Facebook

Since being hired at Marymount University in January 2021, I have brought a greater focus to managing multiple social media channels. Facebook is one of the university's longest-serving social platforms and has proven to be an effective way to reach not only prospective and current students but also parents and alumni.

An increased focused to engage this broad audience has contributed to a 12.98% growth in page followers

since November 2020.

Instagram

I've found that Instagram is the most popular platform among Marymount students. As such, I've created additional Highlights tabs focused on campus clubs and organizations and upcoming events. 

​

Since August 2020, there has been a 4.5% growth in followers, totaling 4,963.

Twitter

Twitter is an effective platform to reach users beyond your core audience, including the accounts of higher ed institutions, businesses and nonprofits.

​

Since May 2020, Twitter followers have increased by 4.5% to 4,452 as of November 2021.
